Running With Speakers (a.k.a. RWS) is Samohi's own student-operated Audio Technology Organization club and has been for over 30 years. RWS runs technology setups for school events such as audio design and visuals for football games, music performances, pep rallies, etc.

Our organization sets up and runs sound systems for most events at Samohi. Setups range in complexity and size; we run smaller events that are perfect for newer members learning the ropes, and much larger events that take a whole team to complete, such as pep rallies.

We also teach our fellow students fundamentals in audio technology and sound design, so if you are planning to or are interested in entering a music or audio centered field, we can help you learn about the more technical aspects of audio work.
